Abstract: India’s long tradition of using medicinal herbs continues to play an important role in natural healing. Yet, many people today struggle to maintain the health of these plants due to a lack of time, awareness, or technical knowledge. Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum), a sacred and medicinal herb, often suffers from disease, poor soil conditions, or irregular care. HerbCare offers a smart and easy way to take care of such plants by combining artificial intelligence, image processing, and IoT technology. Using image analysis, the system studies the color and texture of Tulsi leaves to detect early signs of stress, pest attacks, or nutrient shortage. At the same time, connected sensors monitor key environmental factors like soil moisture, humidity, and temperature to ensure a healthy growing environment. Along with monitoring, the platform provides helpful advice about the herb’s medicinal uses, ideal conditions, and care practices. This allows users to act quickly and maintain the plant’s overall health. By bringing together traditional herbal knowledge and modern technology, HerbCare encourages people to grow and protect medicinal plants more effectively. It supports sustainable herbal cultivation and helps individuals reconnect with nature through intelligent and data-driven care.
